How Arise Team Building Started
Fourteen years ago, I discovered something powerful — people connect differently when they’re having fun.
What started as a love for events soon became something more. We became passionate about creating experiences that break down barriers, build confidence, and remind teams why they enjoy working together.
Why We Love Team Building
For over 14 years, Arise Team Building has created unforgettable team building experiences across South Africa.
We host events in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, and surrounding areas.
Over the years, I’ve watched reserved colleagues become competitive teammates. I’ve seen managers laugh until they cry during Carnival Day challenges. I’ve also seen entire teams bond while solving mysteries, racing through clues, and tackling high-energy challenges together.
I’ve never believed team building should feel forced or awkward. Instead, it should feel exciting and engaging.
From Amazing Race adventures and Survivor challenges to MasterChef cook-offs and custom corporate team building events, we create interactive experiences that improve communication, collaboration, team morale, and workplace culture.
Fourteen years later, I still get excited watching a group of strangers walk into an event and leave feeling like a team. In fact, those moments are what inspire us every day.

Meet Bianca
Behind every event at Arise Team Building is me — Bianca.
For the past 14 years, I’ve been passionate about creating experiences that bring people together in a genuine and memorable way. I love seeing teams step away from their desks, let loose, laugh together, and connect outside of the workplace.
What makes Arise Team Building different is the personal touch behind every event. From the first enquiry to the final wrap-up, I’m hands-on in making sure every detail comes together seamlessly. I believe no two teams are the same, which is why every event is tailored to suit the people attending it.
When I’m not planning events, brainstorming new ideas, or setting up team challenges, you’ll probably find me thinking of the next creative experience to make teams say, “That was the best company event we’ve ever had.”
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with incredible companies, amazing people, and unforgettable teams — and I still love what I do just as much as when I started.
Meet Adam
Adam is the lead facilitator for Arise Team Building in Johannesburg and brings incredible energy, enthusiasm, and personality to every event he runs.
He has a natural ability to engage people. He creates a fun atmosphere and encourages even the quietest team members to get involved.
Making teams onnect is something he is very passionate about. As a result, participants feel more engaged and involved throughout the event.
From the first activity to the final wrap-up, Adam brings professionalism, energy, and plenty of fun to every Johannesburg event.
